    Senoia Raceway's Billy Clanton Classic $10,025 to win set for Saturday, September 28

    This year's Showdown at Senoia will feature the Schaeffer's Oil Fall Nationals sanctioning the Billy Clanton Classic on Saturday, September 28th. The Super Late Models will compete for $10,025 to win as the headliner for the full weekend of racing.

    The Limited Late Models (steelheads/525s) will have an opportunity to race on Friday, September 27th for $1250 to win while the Crate Late Models (604 engine) and Late Model Sportsman (602 engine) will have two full nights of racing with each division racing for $1000 to win both nights. There is also racing scheduled in the Hobby, Bomber, Mini Stock and Hot Shot/440/SCDRA cars.

    Past winners of the Billy Clanton Classic include Clanton's son Shane who won the race in 2015 and 2016; Brandon Sheppard in 2017 and Chris 'Smokey' Madden last year.

    Pits open at 4pm. Grandstands open at 4pm.
    Open Practice for all divisions from 6pm—9pm.
    Rotate divisions throughout the three hour period.
    Single day pit pass: $20
    Three day pit pass: $90 (adult); $60 (kids 5-12)
    Grandstand admission is FREE!

    Friday, September 27
    Showdown Shoot-Out Night
    Pit Opens—2pm Grandstand Opens—5pm
    Driver’s Mtg—6:00pm Hot Laps/Qualifying—6:30pm
    FULL NIGHT OF RACING! FEATURES TONIGHT!
    Limited Late Models—$1250 to win (Qualify/Feature)
    Crate Late Models—$1000 to win (Qualify/Feature)
    Late Model Sportsman—$1000 to win (Qualify/Feature)
    Bomber—$750 to win (Qualify/Feature)
    Chargers—Two Nights Total Points with Trophies to top 3
    Hot Shots—Two Nights Total Points—$500 to win and full field payout based on the two night accumulated points

    Single day pit pass: $35 (adult); $20 (kids 5-12)
    Trackside Reserved Space: $50 (does not include pass)
    Fri/Sat General Admission: $40; 12 & under are FREE
    Fri/Sat Weekend Reserved: $60 (all ages—includes ticket)
    Friday Grandstand: $20 (adult); Kids 12 & under are FREE

        Any idea what SLM’s will be there? I saw Bloomquist and Madden. Was wondering about others. Thanks!Also this track is super racy. If you’ve never been I highly encourage you to make the trip!

                  It’s on the schedule but he does have Bedford listed also. I saw an announcement a few days ago saying they were both going to be in Senoia. But maybe something changed that I’m unaware of. https://www.scottbloomquistracing.com/events/

                            I've heard so much of Bloomer and Madden are coming for sure and gonna wear everyone else out this week!! Others were racing for 3rd, at best!! I know some won't come without Bloomer!! Even more without McDowell!! We'lll see who actually shows, racers and fans! Some of you need to sign up for an account too!! It's free and painless!!

                              Team bloomer posted on twitter that they were splitting races this wknd. Bloomer to to bedford for cup race and madden to clanton race. Might have changed though
