Dead Southern Track Reopens

Shuttered for a number of years, the northern dirt track once called Corinth Speedway is back in business. Now called Crossroad Motorsport Speedway. Had no clue it was even considered to be opened. I went a couple of times o few years ago and enjoyed the long trip, it was in a interesting location, surface, degree of banking and layout.

Glad to see another dead one in the South come back to life. It surely crowds the scene in Northwestern Alabama and Northeastern Mississippi.

Mark, I was told a guy from Ohio named Frank Plavka had took it over and also heard after he moved south he raced some at TST so you may actually know him.

They going to run supers?

They did when I went a number of years ago but that was then. Seems the deal for tracks who can't afford supers and so on run the 602 LM class that actually can put on a very nice show.
