While Mike Van Gendren is a great promoter, Stuart, IA is no where big enough (grandstands and pit space) to hold an event of this nature.

What is wrong with the speed weeks portion of the schedule considering that it is the only place that would be possibly warm enough and with no winter precipitation to have to worry about to start the season. Why only bash the Lucas schedule why don't you go look at the Woo schedule too

I don’t think it is any smaller (grandstands or pit space) than Ponderosa, and they have hosted the Lucas Oil series for several years. I went with Stuart because of their proximity to I-80. My first choice was Eagle, but I went with Stuart since it is a little further away and might bring in some fans that may not go to I-80. It was, as I mentioned in another post, completely hypothetical. They could certainly consider other tracks in that area like Eagle, Adams County, Crawford County, Beatrice, etc.Originally posted by fryefan View PostWhile Mike Van Gendren is a great promoter, Stuart, IA is no where big enough (grandstands and pit space) to hold an event of this nature.
The WoO schedule hasn’t been released yet. Don’t worry, I’ll get around to them when their schedule comes out. I wonder if the All-Tech Race isn't to see if they could handle the full Speedweek, or to see what they need to improve upon...Originally posted by zyoung25 View PostI'm just wondering where they'll go once east bay is no more? Bubba probably had himself set up to take over, but that isn't looking to promising at the time.Educatio est omnium efficacissima forma rebellionis
