Best DLM race you've ever seen in person

Hard to pick just one for most I'm sure...but pick your all time favorite.

For me it was 2012 SN race at Wilmot.
Unzicker passed Wendall Wallace on the last lap for the victory, winning by 1/10th second. Clean, hard, side by side racing with multiple lead changes throughout the main event.

Babb 3rd, Birky 4th, and young Pierce 5th.

For a track that generally provides subpar racing when they host late models, it was the most exciting race and closest finish I've ever witnessed.

Let's hear your recollections of your personal favorite.

The first one I started at Dixieland Speedway in 2011. I don’t remember who won and I sucked, but it was a dream realized.

A B.O.B race at Crossville, Tn in the early 2000’s or the Trick or Treat race at Atomic in 99 or 2000.

For me I’d have to say the 2010 World 100. My first trip and I was amazed at the track.
The big names I’d never heard of. It didn’t seem real. First time I’d ever heard of billy moyer.

I’ve been back 7 times since.

Also the window net race I was present for

2007 Topless 100, 2010 Show Me 100, and the inaugural Pelican 100 at ArkLaTex come to mind.

From first green flag (heats) to last checkered flag (feature) best races I've seen IMO of course are

                          1. 2019 Dirt Late Model Dream, this happened recently enough I think we all know the details. Was a wild night of excellent racing and unpredictability.

                          2. 2010 North South 100 -- rained before heat races back when they ran 6 heats, Bs, and A all on Saturday. And the track was simply fast and Tracey all night long. Hard battles and hurt feelings for transfers in heat races. And the 100 lapper the grooved moved around, and lots of passing and hard racing throughout. Carrier and someone basically crashed battling for the lead 30 or so in, but they both kept going straight and racing for it no yellow, Pearson found moisture low and ran down Owens and passed for the lead with 4-6 to go but Earls grip strip got used up and Owens got him back with 2 to go I think.

                          3. 2008 Lucas Oil Late Model race at Portsmouth. (Only one they had that year, day before Hillbilly) i remeber grwat heat races, and then the feature netween Terry Casey and Josh McGuire. The call on the PA from James was that they were racing like they didn't have families to go home to. And McGuire got his Lucas win. God I wish Sports Plus was there for that one to have and watch over.

Maybe not the best race ever but certainly the most memorable was 2006 Knoxville National. Brian Shirley spins on lap 2 restarts 31st and takes the lead after Darren Miller jumps the cushion demolishing his car on lap 89. Many fans wondered who drove that #3. Big upset, Brain Shirley has arrived.
