Most people aren’t millionaires at retirement. Most people have WAY less. While I’m not poor, my Edward Jones rep told us we were like the top 10% of the nation and we are not millionaires. Now if you live in Chicago, Boston, NY, LA? Ok...that’s gonna take some serious dough to retire there because of taxes. But most people in this country are two paychecks away from a holy $hit moment.

Don’t worry, seems like the minute I think cool, it has stabilized on the upswing, it takes a turd.

I don’t have a lot in mine because I have a pension. One quarter it’ll jump, then it’ll tank. Overall not bad though. I’d like to contribute more eventually. And have my pension plus a nice 401k.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

I'm happy to have one and got in early.....it's had its ups and downs over the last 25 years, but overall it's been pretty good.......I won't be on easy street, but I won't be on red dirt road either.....unless I want to be.

My point of even bringing it up was because mccarter was being pompous on his end about it .....and I know he hates anything trumpish.
Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

With the way the economy has turned around and started doing better since November 2016, that goal is achievable with hard work.

My 401K is running like a scalded dog right now. I keep increasing my contributions to take advantage of the upswing.

My target is three million by the time I retire in thirty five years. If someone has $50k invested by the time they are 25 and don't touch it, they'll have $800,000 by the time they retire.

              In trumps economy....you're right.

Great you have a goal, too bad you're fighting to derail it with your political bias.

And btw.....patronizing isn't your best feature, do you really think you need to be giving financial advice to people that actually do it for a living and might know a little more on the subject than you?

Oh yeah.....that's how you d lems roll.

It started coming back before then, but I understand why you picked that date. Wanna say 2015 or 14.

So if people don’t like who you do they are automatically democratic and politically biased?

Didn’t like your boy since before he was on the Apprentice. Could care less what party he’s with. And while I totally agree unemployment is very low, how many are actual good jobs is the sad question.

I have a financial advisor, and I like him, but a lot of it you can learn on your own.

I'm not sure how you missed it, but Mr Trump is far from my boy.

I voted democrat in 2008 fwiw.....I've always voted for the best person versus the best party.

Being said, he is the current president, was the best choice out of anyone ( non write in) running in 2016 by a mile.....really can't believe you missed that, my position hasn't changed ever.

We have a couple financial advisors in our family I rely on for most of my stuff, but you're correct on doing a lot on your own .....it's not super hard if you pay attention to what's happening and have a strong stomach for a little down time.

Best advice I ever got and it's true in most instances for any business.....the money is made when you buy it right, not when you sell it.

                        C and b

Just because I think some d lems are stupid , whiny and entitlement driven doesn't mean I think they all are.....just the ones that deserve it, show it and act like it....they are pretty easy to spot.

I support our president because he's our president.....just like I have since I was old enough to vote.

I like that this current president has put the government lifers on notice and that they are now nervous....very nervous.

I hate that this current president has to go about it on his Twitter account like a middle school cheerleader.

Please don't confuse me with a blind follower of anything.....wrong guy.
