The issue with the haulers was he didn’t have a consistent one. He was having to move everything from one hauler to another instead of focusing on the car. Same with Scott. Something you should only be doing the maintenance on and keeping stocked, they were taking everything out of and putting it into a different hauler.

They bought the Dunn-Benson hauler and correct if I'm wrong but it is classified as a motorhome and you do not need a CDL to drive a motorhome

Correct. Which I can’t believe that law hasn’t been changed yet. They fixed the loophole of taking a dump truck with a pintle hitch trailer(hook and ring type), and getting your full class A. Now it’ll specify that. And you can’t drive a fifth wheel. Think that may be how these trailers are connected. The stackers. And if you use an automatic that’s restricted too.

Them guys are rolling down the road hauling a$$ as heavy as semis, and need no CDL. Just think that loophole has been abused for way too long. I think farmers are still exempt too. Though not positive.

It’ll take some rich person or politicians family member getting messed up, then they’ll change it.

Right. Pretty sure we all do. There was t shirts about it. I was there too. Took pictures. Point was, you are involved in racing, you should be able to understand this, that he wasn’t able, the team wasn’t able, to put all their focus into the car. They were worried about transportation issues.

I think as a full time touring guy, a nice stacker is definitely what ya want and need honestly. But, at times, and in a pinch, you can use whatever. Doesn’t change the fact Timmy still had a good piece. Only issue would be trashing a car and having no back up.

And yeah he played on it to make money, don’t blame him one bit.

Mixed emotions for sure. Tim McCreadie was hired by Carl Myers at the end of the 2002 season and had driven for them through the 2019 season. It started as a big block modified team and grew into a national dirt late model team. They allowed Tim to make all of the calls on cars, engines, etc. In today's racing landscape not many people stay with the same race team for 17 full seasons.

I'm sure the sale of Sweeteners Plus is behind the change for Tim McCreadie.

Agree.....Carl Myers supported Tim for a long time. It will be interesting to see how much funding Vic Coffey puts into his son's modified efforts going forward. Carl & Ann Myers are to be commended for supporting dirt track racing for as long as they did......

CnB, can’t quote but your statement about the CDl blows my mind too. These guys are running more length and weight than many CDL required vehicles on the roads.

I don’t really care but I also don’t understand.

These rigs are way longer than semis and often have more than the normal semi load of people on board.

It will be weird not seeing sweetners on the car. They've been a mainstay in the sport for years. Itll be interesting to see what the car looks like.
