"Mixed emotions for sure. Tim McCreadie was hired by Carl Myers at the end of the 2002 season and had driven for them through the 2019 season. It started as a big block modified team and grew into a national dirt late model team. They allowed Tim to make all of the calls on cars, engines, etc. In today's racing landscape not many people stay with the same race team for 17 full seasons.

Agree.....Carl Myers supported Tim for a long time. It will be interesting to see how much funding Vic Coffey puts into his son's modified efforts going forward. Carl & Ann Myers are to be commended for supporting dirt track racing for as long as they did......

I tend to think Kyle will get whatever support he needs. The whole focus of CME in the northeast for the last year or two really has been him, even to the point of bringing Matt Sheppard in for a handful of races to kind of be a tutor. He’s also family.

Madcat and CnB, quote ain’t working for me so I’ll do it this way. I don’t understand the whole CDL thing with these haulers but I was told a few years back by a driver that as long as they have For Private Use Only or Not For Hire on their rig they don’t need a CDL. Somebody that knows more about this may be able to clarify if this is true or not.

In the state of SC you have to have a Class E license to drive those haulers according to the DMV

You are correct, don’t plaster it with sponsors and you are ok. I just think with them tightening the reins on regular truckers, why not tighten that glaring loop hole.

Say’s F if you’re got a trailer. And from the sounds of it, they make you go through all the same stuff as a CDL person for the test. Good for them. Glad some are catching on.

Are the Myers part of the Sweeteners deal, or were they just helping Timmy out with sponsorship of dome kind? Never did understand what the deal was with Sweeteners, you never heard of them being mentioned other than seeing them on the car and they seemed to be the major dollars behind him. Just curious.
