I think Overton could've won if he hadn't started so far back. He's been our favorite local driver for the past five years or so, so we were watching him from the start. He was moving from the drop of the flag, especially on the last two restarts. He just needed one more caution. He would go straight to the top and fly around everybody. You didn't get to see it on TV, but it was awesome to watch in person. It's going to be fun watching him in the Wells ride.

That's the fastest I've seen GIS since I started going there in 2014. I never got to see it when it was bigger and oil-based, but they were flat out hooked up Saturday night. Congrats to TMac. He had it going all night. You have to love feel good stories, and this was definitely one of them. It was a popular win for most fans of the sport, no doubt.

Track conditions were great. Overton was strong for sure. He has been getting pretty good at Florence here recently, hope to see him here a few times this year.
