White line ??

What is the line at end of turn 4 put
there for ??

I thought it was where the pole sitter is suppose
to fire off at,but in the Lucas races they are
firing off a long ways before they get to it.

I watched the WOO the other day and they put
a guy back a roll for starting to soon.

I also saw a guy sent to rear for it on a restart
at another track.

Does Lucas start the race with the flagman ?

Lucas is inconsistent with their judgment calls and rules. It depends on who you are, what family you belong to, what family is working for the series, what sponsor you have on the car and the list goes on and on.Anyone who believes otherwise has their head in the sand.

Generally i think the line is more of a intial start thing on restarts they tend to go much earlier and i see this in both series. As fast as local tracks go most generally go by a line or a cone all night long

I always thought it was just the original start line, then the leader gets to pick where they start between 3-4 on restarts. At least on Delaware double file starts.

Leader has to fire before white line. Supposed to be between middle of 3/4 and the line.

Because it give you a zone to start in. Seems pretty straight forward to me. Otherwise drivers would leave from turn three or wait till the front stretch to fire. Most every racing organization has a start zone.
