The official mouthpiece for Lahm Autosports has spoken. At least everyone can keep cashing checks.

So although Harrison will be driving under the Lamm Autosports banner he has not been hired as an in-house driver for Lamm Autosports. Rather, he is simply paying to lease (rent) a set amount of seat time in their equipment while receiving driver tutelage specific to dirt late model racing during a specific event (I-95 Challenge Series). The equipment/time availability for the 2020 season is limited in order to provide each client the best experience possible, as such, everyone interested were carefully vetted prior to being selected. At the end of the day it is a great opportunity for a current or potential career racer to obtain valuable seat time, tutelage and experience specific to dirt late model racing without taking all of the cost/equipment/crew responsibilities onto themselves. Ultimately, like everything else in life, everyone participating will get out of the experience what they put into it. 
So as official spokesperson could you tell us how many people were carefully vetted before this young phenom was chosen? It would seem that the list might be quite short!

There should be clarification around the vetting process - it isn't how big the check was but that it cleared the bank for deposit.Whatever spin they try to put on this deal, whether development or rent-a-ride, it comes down to putting money in the pocket. Really appreciate the use of the big words like tuteledge and distinction in this thread. LOL

Yea let's turn the table. If you are Lamm motorsports why would you not take the guy bringing the biggest bag of cash ? There only concern is the car coming back in 1 pc.

I think he's had ample opportunity to prove his ability already.

That isn't a concern if its adequately addressed in the contract.

I go to a bunch of all kinds of races and I've never seen him on the track....I'm more than willing to give him the benefit of the doubt though.

Are you saying he has proven his ability or he's had plenty of chances and hasn't done it yet?

I've seen him plenty in a LM. Various brands and scenarios of help. Against local competition. Not impressed.

Thanks MB.....I know this for certain, if he acts all stupid and immature as described so far with those guys on the i95 challenge......they will bring the car home in a box almost every night.

I'm starting to think some of you don't understand how to make money.

And that you think this is some kind of community effort where you're somehow entitled to know how much money the Lamms get and how much background checking they do.
