Most people don't understand the dominos have already fallen. These cancellations have as much or more to do with the fear of legal action taken against them as they have to do with keeping people safe. These people do not want to be sued over this and you can't blame them.

This very point was made as part of the blather that the clowns on the all sports channels were regurgitating during the hours they had to fill after all stick and ball sports was shut down. And for once they were spot on correct. The legal ramifications are a clear and present danger to those who would be forced to shoulder the liability that would positively be successfully litigated in the aftermath of the communication of the virus among attendees and participants of these sporting events.

Whether in reality it was justified or not these entities had/have no viable course of action but to abruptly shut things down!

Personally, I'm going to thoroughly enjoy watching these high dollar sports network jock sniffers having to pontificate hour after hour without any tangible sports subject matter!
