The 09 outbreak did, but previous outbreaks have happened in different countries all over the world going all the way back to Spanish Flu. It’s made up of a combination of different flu viruses from places all over the planet.

This is gonna be at least 2 times more deadly than the flu..probably a good bit more than that. I'm not sure whether or not that qualifies as slightly.
And I am totally willing to say that I'm not sure what the right moves are as far as the economy is concerned. I don't envy Donald Trump or any governor or mayor right now.
Trump is doing a terrible job with some of this. The jury is out regarding the handling of the economy.

That is absolutely right...if somebody is in a car accident and dies from internal injuries and they test positive of the China virus, then the cause of death is the virus because that's what they have been directed to do so they can make more money. The numbers very inflated. Notice how nobody dies from anything other than the virus anymore?

You are having trouble keeping up. You have to multiply the confirmed cases by 50-80 times based on recent antibody studies, which means the mortality rate is around the same as the flu. And it's not the virus killing people, it's the underlying conditions. If the people in the at-risk categories are isolating then there's no risk that comes with reopening the economy.

Those antibody tests have you on the right track, but they were done in hot spots. By August, probably 15 million Americans will have been infected. Say we have 70k deaths. That's still 4x as bad as the flu. Is that bad enough to wreck the country, in my opinion, no.

That is very early antibody testing. Not near enough has been done to determine how accurate it is.
And as long as you are ok with asking your elderly relatives to stay home then all the best to you and yours.

The only reason the mortality rate is about the same as the flu is because, of the stay at home orders. Had not been for that it would be much worse. One only needs to look at Italy to see that the deaths went from over 200 to over 4,000 in a 2 week period.

I understand about wanting to get people back to work but, they better make sure they have plenty of testing before they do or we could end right back where we are.
