It was more than an invitational. You had to finish in the Top 5 of a havatampa race to get invited!

It was top five (or six) of the NOT already eligible drivers for the H-A-T Shootout.

Was just using that as an example of how even though it’s an invitational you’re not guaranteed anything when you get there.

The fact it was better to race for $4k than $25k is what is wrong with the cars today.

Agree with that completely. Too much importance on technology and equipment and less on what’s in the seat.
