I was at neither of these so the info I am posting is what I have gathered in reading different stories online.
Volunteer Speedway started on Friday evening and the final race ended at 6:30 Saturday morning. They have a huge car count and weather delayed things at different points. I still think it is dumb to race overnight.
Fayetteville Speedway attempted to run 9 classes on Saturday night. Had a large car count and the first feature ended at midnight. At that point the lights went out due to a power outage in that area. They plan to finish up tonight (Sunday) I was told they planned to run some of those classes on Friday night but it rained it out. Trying to run 9 classes is just not smart.
