Declined invite. Not sure why. Hasn't been running the greatest. I know he missed the show his last race at 411, which was surprising.

He won the Smoky Mountain WoO show two starts ago. The 411 performance was underwhelming, but I wouldn’t say he’s struggling. Given all the crap going on these days, and the fact he owns his own business and doesn’t race for a living, it’s no surprise he declined going to Eldora and hasn’t raced but the once since the pandemic cranked up. I imagine we’ll see Mike out and about once things start to simmer down.
      We'll miss ya Doc Watson...

What Ben is referring to: Rigsby stated the other day that the future of Mike & team owner Ronnie Delks plans should come out this week. NOTE: “Should”
Could be good or bad. Delks is known to make radical changes & marches to his own drum- which it’s his money and you have to respect him for that. Last year Marlar stated that the racing he grew up to love- wasn’t there anymore. As stated above- both Mike and Delk are successful business owners & race for enjoyment- not to make a living. This isn’t to say they don’t expect returns on the $$ spent. Mike also stated he gets 30% of what the car makes in winnings.
