I just wish NASCAR would focus more on their product of racing than trying to be politically correct. We go to the races to get away from every bit of the crap they are pulling now. Who would want to go be apart of that circus right now? Count me out.

Yes. Concentrate on the racing. Have simple rules. Let teams build the cars based on a rule book. Make it exciting. Get the drivers to be very competitive.

I've got no beef with the Confederate flag. I've got 2 shirts with it pasted on the back. I will also say, I don't have the ballz to fly a Con. flag at my house. Way to many rioter/blm groups in my town. I'd be afraid they'd burn my house down while I'm sleeping.

You must live in a rural area or Crackerville, Idaho. Either way, stay safe.

i agree with your post. I dont have a confederate flag and would nave no interest in flying one at the track. But to see people pick and chose what is offensive is getting old. I am standing up for what is fair. If Nascar is going to allow a BLM banner or Pride flag then the Confederate Flag should be allowed. I would also stand up and defend a black person if they were getting harassed at the track or any place for that matter. I would not support someone with a Confederate flag shouting racist things at someone. To me it's not as much about the item as it is about the actions of someone. If you ban everything that offends someone this will be a very dull country.

Personally, I feel like someone is trying to put a negative spotlight on NASCAR fans. It's not like Bubba is new to the sport, but this happens for the first time during all the civil unrest in the country? No matter who did it, it was ignorant all the same.

I think people SHOULD be smart enough to be wary of a group of book burners that threw a hissy fit over a rally in Tulsa 99 years after a Black neighborhood burned but went on NATIONAL TV and cheered on groups of terrorists burning down black neighborhoods last month. However they aren't. If we forget what happened, we're doomed to repeat it. Guess what happened.
