Florida Late Model Challenge Series

Basically, a 604 crate series with a built engine option. Usually a 8-10 races per year and an option to drop one.All racetracks within 3 hrs of central fla.

They are getting between 20-30 cars per event and have upped the winners purse to $1,500 this year!

That's the point......many of the racers are saying that's not enough winners purse!

Compared to what they are racing for on a weekly basis I’d say it’s fair. It’s not like the tour has a huge fan base pull which I’m sure is why the purses are still modest. I grew up watching weekly shows in the Midwest and the late model fields/racing down here just don’t compare to the quality week to week competition.
