Would think car count would be north of 30 tonight with the St Louis area guys added to the field. Tim Manville, Darren Klein, etc.

I agree BBQ. I like those unexpected winners, although like you mentioned, I'm not sure it would be all that surprising if he ends up in victory lane at some point during this summer national stretch.

I would like to see Tyler Carpenter get a win on the tour. I was at the Dome when he won that race. The kid gives a great interview...

Trying to think of which tracks will benefit him most on the schedule. I'm thinking he'll run good at Fairbury, Highland, Clarksville, Macon, Oakshade.

Wonder why Spatola, Schmitt and Wenger weren't at Peoria last night, weather? Would like to see them at Tri City but going by Peoria I wonder.

I wonder if he had bypassed Peoria yesterday to haul back to Marshalltown for his (I believe) grandfather's Memorial race, which ended up raining out as well?

Also wonder if any new cars can show up to Peoria on July 21 and tag the rear of the C main? I can't imagine it would be too insurmountable of a task to qualify for the A. There are 7 spots yet to be filled in the feature lineup, and you would figure not all of the 10 cars "yet to qualify" from last night would return... In theory, if a guy was interested in trying to hit ALL of the Summernationals, missing Peoria last night would not yet rule out having perfect attendance, if in fact new cars can join on the makeup date. (Though, I will be mildly surprised if Gustin runs the entire tour. In fact, I am not even sure if his intent was stated as running the ENTIRE tour, or just "hitting a bunch of them"...?)
