First of two consis, top 2 advance. Overton had transmission problems so he didn't race in his heat. Could have had a provisional but raced in this 8 car 10 lap consi. Overton went from the rear of the field to win the thing by a good bit.

Kerr ran 2nd and will advance.

3 laps in of 53 laps David Payne in his brand new car goes upside down! An easy rollover, he's ok. Madden is fast, runnin 2nd to a very fast Bailes who was fast qualifyer and won his heat....... Hedgeco%# moving up as is Overton who started 17th.
