Time to penalize dirty sliders

My favorite failed slider was at a Wild West Shootout race at USA in Tucson between Don Shaw and Shane Clanton. Clanton slid him, barely, Shaw wouldn't lift, and Clanton went into the wall and flipped. I said Shaw isn't required to lift, and took alot of flack for it. I still believe it was 100% on Clanton.

How was that? I assume the crowd didn't like it a whole lot?
