The no brainer move for wise would be rocket but i think a mb customs car would fit him well and him and dillard being able to bounce stuff off each other would be a big deal for both. But i don't think he's gonna leave the bloomquist camp unless that ship sinks and burns because he seems very loyal

It's time for Weiss to be looking for a different chassis, that Bloomquist chassis is going nowhere, no corner speed at all and it's not just the droop rule. That track last night was a Bloomquist chassis style of track before,, not now. And with all the news circulating around Bloomquist's personal life and such things are going to get better for awhile. Chris Madden is a perfect example, just look how well he has been running since getting out of that chassis, 2 wins and 2 second place finishes in 4 racex in a Rocket XR1.

Can't argue with any of this. We know Bloomy likes a slick track and would think he builds a race car to perform well on that surface. When I saw him getting lapped on his preferred surface I thought this guy is near rock bottom.

Weiss however is 2nd in series points. Question is, is that despite the Bloomquist chassis or is Bloomy himself just that bad a driver right now? You sharp ones probably know, who's doing well in a Bloomy chasis?

But there is no doubt in my mind Sheppard is the best dirt driver on earth right now. He's simply a robot behind the wheel, and in person, right now. He never shows emotion or gets flustered. If he makes a mistake in a race he doesn't do that again.

I would put jimmy Owens right level with b shepp right now B shepp is an excellent driver But he has unlimited funds behind him. I’ve read he has two full time crew manIf b shepp was running lucas He would get his share of wins But he would dominate lucas like he is in woo

No doubt Shep has top notch equipment, funding, preparation (mechanical and mental) and support. But he doesn't hit the wall, takes care of his tires, takes care of his car, avoids trouble, is patient with lapped traffic, doesn't overdrive, finds his best line and just always seems to make the right decisions.

Like when he was trading sliders with Winger at Cedar Lakes where he finished 2nd. He stayed patient and calm and didn't over drive to win and as a result didn't have a wreck and finished 2nd. And to that point too, he races so clean he has the respect of every driver on the track that they race him clean too and that is a big part of him staying out of trouble.

Indeed Owens is as good as they come but right now IMO Shep is simply The Man. He's like a robot right now.

Bloomer is not 100%, physically, mentally, or otherwise. He made the re-draw Sat. night at Plymouth, WI and looked absolutely worn out when he came up for the draw.

His car isn't right b/c the driver isn't right. His past greatness aside, the man sustained multiple serious injuries a year ago. He is not even close to 100%.

There are no "buts," with B-Shepp. Best driver, best owner, best team in the business. Mark Richard's expects the 1 to win, and Sheppy delivers.

Cade Dillard said it best last night. Running 2nd to those guys is nothing to be ashamed of.

Say what you want about WoO, but with B-Shepp, Weiss, Dillard, and Winger they have four top notch young drivers.

Side note...anyone notice that Madden has the drydene logo on the hood of the Millwood car. Apparently, that $$ wasn't limited to just WoO & Bloomer cars.

Drydene has been on Eckert’s car all year, and he was never going to run the WoO.
