You might want to do some digging on that subject. When compared to many European countries, the US has no tangible far left political party. Sure, we have people called as such but they look nothing like their European counterparts. The mainstream Democrats are basically center-center right. The “Socialist” members are center-left. People labeling them as radical leftists on NewsMax, the Blaze, Fox, etc does not make it so. The far left and far right political realms of Europe are outside of the US spectrum.

The bottom line is the US botched the Rona response when compared to other nations. We’re dealing with the fallout from the botched response, no more, no less. Many of the other nations have moved on to a semi-normal existence, we haven’t. The ultimate hope is our collective leadership learns from the mistakes this go round and does a he11uva lot better the next go round. It’s virtually guaranteed that we will have future pandemics, just as there have been in the past.

And yeah, the people sending out photos of people at race tracks are a$$holes. No one likes a snitch. At this rate, we’re likely not gonna see college football, might to see pro football, and it’ll be interesting to see how the baseball, hockey, and NBA go. This is not a year for fan-attended sports. Enjoy all the racing you can while you can.

I worded that incorrectly. Covid coverage will disappear. Just like it did during Floyd riots. Once that burned out, they tried a little Russia again. Nothing there, so it's back to Covid. Maybe we will be able to get some realistic numbers then too. Don't be surprised to see another mass shooting before the election either.

The only news I consume with regularity comes from neutral party news wire reporting services, the most prominent being Reuters. They have a nice app that gives you up to date video news in easy to digest 15 minute increments.

DeWine is a career Republican in the mold of Reagan era, pre-Trump co-opting of the Party. His bonafides are as Republican as it gets. People are just pissed because he’s temporarily restricting activities that people enjoy during non-pandemic times. In other words, DeWine is doing his job as governor and trying to protect Ohioans and keep Ohio from turning into Florida, Arizona, Georgia, Texas, or New York. Those places are currently massive sh!t-shows.
