If you could road trip it for a year and hit only one track in each state which ones would it be. Can be either as a fan or racer. East bay, Knoxville or Boone, Eldora will most likely be tops in those states i would imagine but what about some states where there are no national TV races.
Best race track in each state

I've got a big fascination with Tazwell in TN. Love the high banks and the grip it and rip it racing I see there early in races........ 411, Smoky Mountain, Volunteer look like real interesting TN tracks but my preference is 3/8ths tracks.
Cedar Lakes in WI.
Florence in KY.
Coin toss for Knoxville and 34 Raceway in IA .
Badlands in SD.
Tyler County in WV.
Kokomo in IN.
Thunder Speedway in MS.
Belleville High Banks in KS.
I-96 in MI.
Lucas Oil Speedway in MO
River Cities in ND.
Been to Eldora so Muskingum in OH.
Cherokee in SC.
Wythe in VA.
Any track in California just to be in the state.

New York has exactly two tracks that run late models. Of the two, I prefer Freedom, but most people would say Stateline.

I don't disagree that I-80 is the best track but Junction Motor Speedway probably has the best facilities in Nebraska. It is a newer track than I-80 though. Thankfully I-80 does have backs on most seats but I'd like to see some facilities improved in the future just to make it an even more attractive track.

I have got to get to tri county in NC......ive never heard anything but great stuff on the racing there.
Same about wythe in Virginia.....got to get to both of those places and really can't believe I haven't checked them off the list already.
This is a great thread, it's cool to see all of the opinions from savvy fans and crew.Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

Batesville is by far the nicest racing facility in Arkansas. It hosts the biggest late model race in Arkansas by far in The Topless 100. However,My favorite track is Diamond Park Speedway with Poinsett County/Old No 1 Speedway a close second.
Diamond Park Speedway has an incredible surface. I haven't been in a few years but the facilities used to be pretty decent. With a little change to the turns,it could be one of the best in the country. BAD fast when hooked up also.
The Old Number 1 track is a neat little bullring with great racing. It hosted the Cow Patty 50 for a few years that paid 8k to win! There used to be cattle that grazed right up next to the fences around the place.Formerly 66#1

Interesting that people are saying Kokomo as the best track in Indiana. IMO that's true! Blackstown shot themselves in the foot.Originally posted by dirtybird73 View PostTop of my list for each state
