Rough night for young Carpenter after a fine 3rd at Spoon. Kid is gaining a boat load of experience though no matter where he finishes. .......... Is that his own crate car or did he drive someone elses?

Tyler was a hoot in hot laps last night. Ever notice when they go out for hot laps, and the flagman waves the green, and they all just idle around for another lap or 2 to get spaced out? T Carp would have none of it. He got up to speed and passed probably every car that was on the track at the time. I've always wanted to see someone do that. They're called hot laps boys. Get on it!
Pennsboro probably knows, who's the engine builder for Tyler? Strange name I've never heard of. Just shows you don't need a Durham big buck motor to compete. I'm startin to like this kid.8/13/16

Reading Kovacs over at DoD it seems Carpenter might be off the tour cuz he blew his motor. The team came to the grueling Hell Tour with only one motor? Hope they work that out and he continues on and finishes the tour.
Reading the thread I was confused as to who was light on the scales. DoD says it was 4th place finishing Taylor Scheffler, he was 6lbs light.

It does help, thanks for the info. ........ Yeeeeeeeeeeeeesh, the kid blows a motor in the LM feature after a 3rd the night before putting in question whether or not he can finish the tour then wins the crate feature but comes up light! Rough night.Originally posted by t4g2 View PostCarpenter ran super lates and a pro crate late and the pro crate was #33 if that helps out he won the feature was light by 18 pounds.

According to Driggers, you might want to hit as many shows as you can. This tour might end prematurely. Sounds like no Michigan date's because of the Corona deal.Originally posted by Mister Ricochet View PostReading Kovacs over at DoD it seems Carpenter might be off the tour cuz he blew his motor. Not surprising considering all of the tracks disregard for or lack of enforcement of social distancing.Originally posted by Highside Hustler25 View PostAccording to Driggers, you might want to hit as many shows as you can. That may explain why Clarksville is now a double-header.Originally posted by Highside Hustler25 View PostAccording to Driggers, you might want to hit as many shows as you can. Don't think it's going to make it very far. Government is starting to catch on to it2020 race count:
1/2 of an event

I guess we're all allowed to deal with the virus as we see fit when it comes down to it regardless of rules. Watching the SN, So Nats and WoO the last couple weeks online I see maybe a mask or two each night and they're shoulder to shoulder. Going by that I won't get to smell, hear or see a race this yr at any track. Otherwise I would have been at Spoon, FALS, FC and LaSalle.Originally posted by JayD View PostNot surprising considering all of the tracks disregard for or lack of enforcement of social distancing.
Have a race/hockey bud in IA and he's been to Knoxville twice this yr and says they adhere to all safety and distancing protocols. Of course the place seats 15k so they can easily do so........ Point is there are tracks that are safe to attend if there is such a thing, I guess.
