There is no way that you know that. That is what you have heard. The truth is different.

You don't sell out 30% of your life accomplishments and your souvenir revenue when you are financially doing well. If he had cash like some think and only wanted Cody as management for the team, you hire him as a manager, not make him a part owner.

That being said, Scott is the guy that you don't ever count out. I don't believe he is done winning yet.

I'm not sure Bloomer will ever get back to healthy. Take in account his age and he won't take the time off to heal, I'd say he is going to hobbling the rest of his time he's climbing in a car.
As far as money, like stated above, he wouldn't have made the moves he has if money wasn't an issue.

Moyer/Bloomquist are racing because it’s their jobs/income. Racing is their livelihood- no retirement pensions, 401 -k. Moyer thru the years has been much smarter with his money. He knows where every dollar goes. Bloomer has been much more reckless with his earnings- but until the past few year’s pretty much spent what he wanted. Loss of big sponsor money, loss of race earnings, loss of the very lucrative soveneir sales- the income is very much different in Mooresburg these days. Bob Miller & Randy Sweet are gone financially-a lot of bridges have been burned in the past that can’t be crossed now.
Hopefully the goat will be back- this sport is much better when he is on his game!

I am sure he will be at Florence where he dominates just about every race he runs there. Even though he has wound up getting beat late in N/S races, he still leads most of them. You can expect Bloomer to be out on the WoO tour for the duration. Drydene didn't give him that sponsorship and $$ to not race.

Same reason you'll see Madden at tracks in the SE or elsewhere the rest of the season. He has a deal with Drydene to race and have their name on the car.

If I'm Drydene moving forward, and they want guys on the WoO tour full-time, I keep Weiss, go after Owens, Marlar, or Overton, and add another young gun like Thornton Jr.

Running the WOO he gets travel money for points standing. Although not a lot of money compared to finishing in top 5 of the race- it does pay the fuel bill for the hauler. I believe they get complimentary entry fees and a couple out passes. I would think the Dryedene sponsorship has him on the WOO tour since they are also a tour sponsor.
The Dryedene stuff wouldn’t be as noticeable on the Lucas Oil Series because of all their banners and promotional tools used at the races. I just don’t think being another oil company they would get the same exposure on the Lucas tour. If he was running the Lucas tour his results would be worse than they are now. Cody has cut the parts/parts inventory way back as to what Scott has been accustomed to having at his disposal. He may have lost some product sponsors along the way? It all comes back to $$.

When Lance Landers started the Davenport deal- Lance was using Bloomquist Chasis. Scott said he wouldn’t help Davenport. Bloomer & Davenport were suppose to split the Crop Production Sponsorship. Landers went the Longhorn route & kept all the CPS (now nutrias ag) sponsorship for his team. (Rumors were it was 200k at the time.) if true that was 100k Scott lost. In Hanuary of 2019 (last year) at the Winternationals he lost Mike Reece/Reece Monument back to Jimmy Owens. The loss of primary sponsors like these are hard to replace. I would assume Dryedene is a decent amount of money- but they also stayed with Madden when he left Team Zero.
Maybe he wins the powerball and stays out of the casinos & regroups??

Bloomer is absolutely out of funds. This is well known within the sport.

Funny how bullcrap travels. If someone had a 3 million dollar budget per season but then had to downsize to a million a year budget, but yet the cost to do it was only a half a million, how is the later struggling or out of funds??

Do you think he has run a national tour on a 1/2 million- maybe with his product sponsors and ect.??
He has spent money like it grows on trees - (example 1.1 million dollar hauler that was junk)- those money trees are dying & falling over now. His cash cow was the soveneir business which he sold to Gerald at Arizona Sport Shirts for “money owed” & pocket change. At 56 years old why would he sell 30% of his team? There are reasons he split with Durham race engines (hint-money owed)! His new deal with Custom Engines was hopefully to resurrect Custom from the ashes & financial help to Bloomer. Not a bad deal for either party if the winning had continued like last year with Madden.
Dirt racing is kinda monkey see- monkey do- what’s winning now type of thing.
Pay attention to the teams that are presently using or switching to Vic Hill Engines because of Jimmy Owens success this year. Other than Rocket Chasis- long recent success- Chasis builders and engine builders get hot and cold - come and go. C.J, Rayburn use to say “they leave me -but they always come back.” That was true for years until he got older/stubborn and Mark Richards was building an empire at Rocket.
Remember just a couple years ago it was thought you had to have an Andy Durham engine to win? Davenport likes the Cornett Chevy Motor and sticks with them. When it comes to brand loyalty- it’s almost like “what have you done for me lately.”
Myself: I bet been a Volkswagen fan for years- but we haven’t won any races - just like the very rare ones in my garage!

Scott burns bridges, and if that's the case, it always catches up to you.

He needs to develope a TEAM mentality. Put RTJ in the ZERO and see what he can do on the lucas tour then let Weiss run the woo. Go kiss Lance Landers right below the Crack and put JD in a Bloomquist chassis. He just can't see that so maybe he has no intention of becoming a car owner or a chassis builder.

Well he is a current car owner /Chasis builder -but operates different from the other builders. He looks at his customers as competition to him (some). You can’t do that in today’s business world and be successful at it. Jimmy has been turned down - but it seems he’s got the rocker figured out & could care less about a bloomer Chasis now. Originally years ago when Mike Reece started his team and Scott agreed to sell him cars :the driver was to have been Billy Igle Jr. - not Jimmy Owens. I think that is why Jimmy and Scott didn’t share a lot of info during the time Jimmy was in a bloomer car. Mark Richards don’t pick the customers he sells to and isn’t worried about competing with them on the track. Bloomer’s intentions were to keep the Chasis business small & selective until his driving days were over/ then open it up for mass production. Don’t think that plan is/will work at the current strategy.
Also: a lot of folks think Weiss drives for Scott- he owns his own team & chooses the Bloomquist brand.

Scott Bloomquist is not out of money. Fire fox go grab some nuts with salt on them. You don't pull into a racetrack witha $70,000 dollar car after you have drove 500 miles to get there and expect people to believe that. Pulling into the gate proves he has money. There is no way you or Bayko or anyone else knows how much is in his bank account. But we do know roughly the cost of the cars and haulers, and the distance traveled to get to a race from the shop.
