Florence fishing?

I will be attending the North-South with my son and we are in search of any fishing holes in a 50 mile or so radius. Any private ponds would be ideal but if we can hook a couple Bass anywhere that would be great also. Thanks for any and all info posted

Big bone lick state park is just right up the road from the track. You got the Ohio river too, its a little further away though.

The lake at Big Bone lick state park is close due to the (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) leaking.

Camp Ernst is going to be way closer than Leary. If you turn left out of Florence Speedway onto US 42 and drive towards Warsaw, there are some easy to access spots to fish the Ohio River pretty easily.

there is one were they pull the water from for the track. on the lower part of pit area.
might be able to google earth it and see how big it is, I cannot remember
