Maybe I missed something, but what was the point of the selection show? Pretty much knew the outcome before it started. I swear the DoD founder guy just likes to be on tv a lot.

I dont like watching or listening to Rigsby on cam. Way to many different facial expressions, hand movements. Just seems kinda weird. He knows he stuff, but just take a chill pill dude.

I see that the fan vote is now up on Flo. Tyler Carpenter did show 2nd in the voting results, and is now gone from the results altogether. Wonder if he gave word that he would not be attending?

I'd have to guess that Hudson O'Neal wins the fan vote by a landslide (unless he is put into the race as an Alternate prior to the fan vote wrapping up).

I’m just basing it on Eldora history, and Chris has ran well in the Dream and World the past 8 years or so.

Can't get quote function to work... LMMS24, I do agree Chris has had some nice runs at Eldora. I thought that Chad had a bit stronger Eldora resume, but after looking back at his previous schedules, he hasn't attended Eldora nearly as much as I thought he had. Chris on the other hand has attended Eldora much more frequently, and had some decent success. So, I'd have to say that I now agree with you that the 32 would be more deserving (if only one of them were to be picked).

I saw somewhere Duane Chamberlain's wife said they were never even contacted about coming but yet it says they were are unable to attend.

Duane is injured, I would guess that's why they not contacted. People would be asking why he wasn't on there if they didn't put him on the list.
