A $50,000 to win, $2,000 to start late model race for drivers who have not won a national touring race. Pick your track, pick your drivers, only rule is no driver winning a national tour race is eligible. Lets give back to the local and regional hot shoes.
Interesting idea

Isn't the Dome race basically that idea. I know it's 30k but there are very few national touring drivers that show up. Last year was the perfect example. Tyler Carpenter who really can't compete financially with the touring drivers wins 30k

I mean Sheppard, Babb, Pierce, Bloomer, Lanigan, Moyer, Davenport, O'Neal, McCreadie have all raced Gateway at least once in the past couple years, so to answer your, no not really the same thing I was suggesting.Originally posted by mccreadiefan39 View PostIsn't the Dome race basically that idea. I'll nominate Derek Doll, Zack Dohm, Tyler Carpenter, and Jacob Hawkins from WV, and we're going to do battle at Fairbury.

Are you related to or the same person as MOPAR DLM? He posted a thread exactly asking the same thing the day before you.Originally posted by Pennsboro32 View PostA $50,000 to win, $2,000 to start late model race for drivers who have not won a national touring race. Do you think there are enough cars around to support say three or four of this type of race just making it a little more regional and there for easier for the more local guys to travel to? What about if you finish in the top 3 in any of these races you can't enter any of the remaining events to help show anyone interested in coming that one person won't be allowed to come in and cherry pick all the money.
