A few times it's been shut down by the EPA because the oil in the ground from wayyy back was seeping through. The fuel tank also blew up there one night and killed a track employee2020 race count:

What happened to Hoffman in the mod race i see where he is 21st. Im assuming since the 2nd and 3rd place guys in points aren't there he took the starting spot made the green flag and then pulled off done for the night to save his equipmentComment

The summernats don't need to be scaled back. They simply need to stop running shows on Monday, Tuesday, and Wed nights.
I do agree 100%, they should scale back on which tracks they visit. Give a few tracks two events on the schedule or back to back nights.
24 races in 35 days at say 18 different tracks is still a Hell Tour imho.Comment
