Wonder if the beach at Clinton Lake (just southwest of FC) is open?

You might check with Chenoa or Gridley. I know they were open but most local pools close on Labor Day weekend.

Stop by my house. I can put you to work. I assume you are going from Farmer City to Fairbury?I mentioned it in another thread but there is a really good place in Lexington for lunch called Kemps Upper Tap. I also recommend going to the Kilgus farm store just south of the track in Fairbury for some ice cream.Pontiac has a neat little downtown where you can do some Rt 66 and car related stuff.

I’m allergic to work on saturdays lol Sunday-Friday I’m ok though. Thanks for the tips. Think we may check out the beach tomorrow on Clinton lake.
