Dear God, Please be with the child and his loved ones during this ordeal. Bring quick healing, even miraculous healing ! Perhaps God will raise this kid up to be a testimony to God's faithfulness in spite of horrible events. Often I don't understand what God allows but I have learned to hold His hand in the darkness.

I pray that Lennox makes a full recovery. This update sounds very encouraging!Originally posted by 06Tireman View PostThis father posted this on Facebook about 2 hours ago..I wanted to give everyone an update on Lennox. Words cannot express our gratitude for everyone reaching out and keeping Len in their thoughts and prayers. We are absolutely blown away by the support we are receiving both near and far, you all are truly amazing!! The power of prayer and god is truly working. We had a bit of a rough morning coming out of sedation, but the breathing tube was removed just before lunch. Most of his afternoon was spent napping. This evening he has been much more active, we even managed to get a couple smiles out of him. He did get to eat two ice pops all by himself and just had a chocolate milk!! Spending the rest of the evening relaxing and watching toonies!!
I made a post a day or two ago about people being burned at my work. I'm sad to say we had our first bad burn victim at work in quite some time last night. Got hot oil (Mobiltherm) sprayed on his arm,and was very severely burned. They took him straight to the burn unit a Children's in Little Rock. Please keep this young man in your prayers as well.Formerly 66#1

Would be a great time for some LM guys to auction off some stuff too. I’d pay a nice piece for some sheet metal for a cause like this. Praying that they can keep that little boy comfortable and he can recover soon.

We are speechless in so many ways. Speechless about the complete nightmare that no one ever anticipated. Speechless about the incredible amount of support from not only friends and family, but the racing community and even complete strangers. Speechless about the fact that we were unexpectedly discharged today directly from the pediatric intensive care unit to go home. The burn team trained us on how to clean and redress the burns and hope that the healing will thrive in his own comfortable environment. We will go back for weekly checks by the burn team for follow up care. Lennox has always been a tough cookie, but to be life flighted to the hospital, sedated for 2 days on a ventilator, and feeding tube with second degree burns to the head, face, neck, and hand to be discharged in 4 days is just completely breath taking. As we travel home with our sweet boy to tackle the next chapter of this adventure I cannot help but cry. Cry tears of happiness, cry tears of fear of going home, cry tears of shock of the support we are receiving and cry because although we are living our worst nightmare, in all reality it could have been so much worse. So thank you. Thank you to my husband for running through flames to save our baby and ripping the shirt off your back to put him out. Thank you for all of the prayers near and far, please keep them coming as our journey has ways to go. Thank you to everyone that helped in any way, shape, or form you are not unnoticed. We will continue to update you throughout our journey and apologize if you have reached out and have not gotten a response.Nathan Stephens
