They water the heck out of track during the day and evening on Thursday. Track was fast but just terrible racing. Today they still watered the heck out of the track but it was sunny and a bit warmer than yesterday and the racing was still bad. Don't know why they are doing this. Big E is much better when it's slick.

After the A main at Eldora, I watched the Allstars feature from Port Royal. There were more passing in the 1st 10 laps of that feature than Eldora produced all night. I get the hype and history of the track but the racing so far has been mediocre at best.

I’m sure like every other track, Port Royal has some stinkers too. Hopefully they listened to JD after last night’s feature. Let’s not toss out Eldora based on two nights of racing lol

The slower Eldora gets the better the racing. That’s a fact. Period. End of story.

While Eldora has major events, it will never be as racey as tracks like I-80, Cedar Lake, Pevely, Wheatland, Fairbury, etc. If they don't get it slicked off from top-to-bottom, then it is a choo-choo.

WHen Eldora is slick (most always) there are always a select few that get the car set up for a touch more power to the ground. I find it pretty boring to watch skating. But that is just an opinion!!
