Who Will Win Lucas Points

If the points are correct then Jimmy Owens leads Timmy McCreadie by 480 points with 6 nights of racing left in the season. So I guess what Im asking is how secure should Owens feel about wrapping up this points championship or is it still to early to say hes the points champion for the 2020 season

But if McCreadie was to win say this weekend at 34 raceway and then win again at either Rome or Dixie and Owens has a bad run at any of those then he would only be 80 points behind right

Even if McCreadie won every race and receive the fast time bonus in every race, Owens would still only need to finish about 8th each race to hold on to the title.

Oh ok i gotcha now that is 1 thing i struggle with is the points and how each series does it

T mac needs to concentrate on locking in 2nd place. Owens is to far ahead for timmy to catch him. He will likely gain more points but thats it.

Tmac has done pretty well at winning when the big checks are on the line lately. I'm sure the team knows there is a fat chance of them catching Jimmy in points, but they can take some money out of his pocket.

Me too, and I wondered the same thing. Can T-Mac catch The Nightmare? ......... Glad you asked. Points or no points the way T-Mac and Owens are running gonna be fun to see these two race 6 more times.
