I've been told it's happened in the past. This was long ago and before Continental. I have no idea...

You are not and have never been the only person that thinks this goes on......makes for a lot of " bad actors" when trying to get to the bottom of what's true and what's not concerning tires.

Nobody with any dirt racing experience of any type doesn't think tire doping doesn't happen......but on the other side of the coin those same people also know something isn't quite right with the whole tire testing, collecting, chain of command, selective enforcement and transparency of what they claim to find stuff when they do these tests.
Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

......at the right temp and the right amount of time!

But.......i had tires trued and the samples sent to a lab to see how much concentration we had at different tire depths. Our process didnt just happen overnight, it took several months and many lab samples to get it right!

Seems like a lot of extra work that could be easily avoided.
