IMO...the only drivers who would skip a $100K to win show would only do so because they don’t have confidence in their current equipment to compete.

I wouldn't technically say that. It's more economical if you were in IL area to run for a combined $14k instead of driving all the way to southeast Ohio and run against 50-60 cars on a historically terrible track just to make the show. Most likely with out the chance of a provisional either.2020 race count:

But if it don’t rain, good chance on the second night it’ll be locked down come feature time.
And I’d like to go back. Good setting for a track, easy drive for me, Holiday Inn is nice, BW’s is cool, and if the track is on point it is very fast.Up in the air who my next “favorite†driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normalâ€.

Shirley was very good there last year, probably a top 3 car if he didn't break early. Jason has ran good there in the past. Both are somewhat surprising. Out of the Illinois bunch, those are 2 id expect to come, outside of Bshep of course.Originally posted by DarrellGoode View PostSurprisingly Jason Feger and Brian Shirley will be at Portsmouth
