Owens missing Mallory yet?

Jimmy missing a lot of speed to start the year out. In a time where qualifying is more important than ever, lack of speed early in the night has really got him behind the 8 ball. Just gotta wonder if the “crew” change has hurt him, surely he hasn’t forgot what worked in the past.

How so? Owens has never been great at East Bay. It's too early to tell if Owens will struggle or be better off without Mallory. Lets bring this discussion back up in mid April.

Jimmy dominated last year, when he dominated qualifying and started up front. He was the clean air king. When he didn’t start up front, and/or got into lapped traffic, different story. That lasted about half the season. The second half of the season, it seemed like they couldn’t do anything right.

Yeah but when u got fans coming from Arkansas to Cherokee speedway primarily to watch Jimmy Owens.. you know the man is doing something right 👍. I was impressed when I talked to these folks last spring. They came all that way. Jimmy has a fan base.
