The forecast I’m looking at says 50% chance of rain Friday night. Not much before then, or after. This call wouldn’t have shocked me on Wednesday, but making it on Monday is pretty dang quick. Maybe they’ll run two nights at Smoky Mountain now.

Seems like Duck River has either cancelled early or made drastic changes to some of their late model races the past few years. I know something happened with the Deep Fried 75 last year where the purse was reduced.

Ruben tweeted that their expecting over 50 LM at Smokey Mountain.

Cloudy with a high of 58 on Friday. There’s no larger than an 8% chance of rain for the next week.

If that forecast isn’t good enough, maybe don’t schedule a race in early March.

they have backed up on several races the past 2-3 years or so, cut purses too, he has made it hard to trust him

I would be shocked if WoO gives Duck River this date again next year.

There missing out on a dam good field of cars. Last year that race was awesome
