    Oh, scottie.

Time to get your crippled a** out of that seat and put someone in it that can get er done. Everyone is waiting to see you comeback, me included, but I think the cards your playing are definitely stacked against you.

The racing world was better before social media, it brings out the worst in people and I've been guilty myself.

i was hoping and really thought it would work when madden teamed up with him and the team, I'm sure he will have the light shine on him from time to time, but father time catches up to all of us, in my opinion it has become a young mans sport, you have to drive so hard the entire race in todays cars
hopefully he understands he may have to pass the torch at some point, thats going to be very hard to do since he has had the success he has had

He still tries to act like he’s 25-35 or whatever. He is not, and he had a pretty bad motorcycle accident. Possibly just a slight scrape according to a reliable source.

The partying, the gambling, just catches up with you. He COULD still get it back. But it would mean, quit doing everything he does, work out, cardio, eat better, just change yourself. And he’s in my opinion just not the type to change. Even when what he’s doing is snowballing his career quicker than it should. I think he still has the talent, it’s his body. Has to change his whole routine, highly doubt it, but to me that’s what he has to do. And whatever rehab is left to help fix the left over issues from the motorcycle “scrape”.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

My guess his injuries from the “scrape” won’t ever heal properly because he never took the time to let them heal. Especially at his age

He shouldve handed the full time seat over to Weiss, and he just just run the bigger shows and acted as a crew chief for Ricky. That ship has done sailed, atleast for this year. I feel like the daily grind is probably too much for him anymore. You can't run up and down the road with a Skelton crew, and think you're going to be on top of the game.

However, I did see Parker Martin has been parking by him. I wouldn't doubt if we don't see Parker in a zero car before the year is out.

Everyone who is a fan like myself, just enjoy him still being in a race car and competing. The sport will not be the same when he decides to retire. I’d rather him be driving than not at all. Yes it would be nice to see him doing better, but there are a lot of drivers of all ages struggling to keep up.

I don't see Scott handing the reins to anyone. I think he has proven time and time again that he doesn't get along with others. He's had numerous teammates over the years and the relationships never have worked. Don't see it changing either.

The one thing that is very rarely mentioned: Scott is not just the driver- he is the team owner and is in charge of all aspects of his race team. That’s a lot to keep up with. Looking at his results since Cody Summers bought into the bussiness- they haven’t improved at all. Yes-the injuries are part of this time period as well.

Wonder what Bloomer’s career would look like if he had just been a driver and not an owner with the added time/responsibilities that go with team ownership??
                        Just a thought!

It has nothing to do with Father Time haha. Y’all have no idea. Why do you think he keep’s coming back to this place?

I agree that it’s a lot to do with age and health. But to all you saying put someone else in the seat. Do you not think it’s possible that rocket and longhorn have far surpassed bloomquists chassis. Maddens run was a couple years ago now, Weiss before he switched ran decent but wasn’t racking up the wins. You can only get so far behind here before it’s pretty hard to catch up.
