Yea right. This is the same track that canceled the WOO show on Monday and the race wasn't untill Friday night. Or canceled several big shows last year. The owner is trying to sell the track so don't expect this to happen.

They just posted today that they are shutting the track down because the tech man quit. Not sure if this applies for this upcoming super race... but my instincts tell me there's a good chance it will get cancelled.

I'm not surprised when they start cutting purses an cancelling races it's not going to be long the only way they run that race is if somebody else puts up the money.

Very true, they must've worked out something as they deleted that post about closing to now they are open as scheduled this weekend. We used to race over there... but with the payout cuts, tire rules and wishy-washy on schedule, we haven't ventured over there in a few years now.

If they run this race it will surprise me I noticed they have gone to 12 classes now on weekly races.

This track is still up for sale, for a while. The promoter is scheduling big paying events, then cancelling them for some reason, or cutting the purse when the car count doesn't add up. Reason? To jack up the price for a large sale tag? Not worth over a million. What is Harris up to? Only run and pay out when it looks like money can be made?
