With all the rules mandated weight (door plates, fire systems, etc) and heavy parts that some use, I can't believe anyone is light anymore.

I have to agree with you pretty much the only way to be under weight is running a dangerously low fuel load. And by dangerous I mean you may run out

And why would you debut a brand new car at a track where and when others are also wrecking/totalling them. If I were the car owner, I would be pissed too.

Strickler, on dirt on dirt, said they were close at the scales after qualifying and they put extra fuel in for the heat. Obviously not enough.

Hopefully they stay together. Personally, you can’t throw in the towel so soon. Strickler has talent, I don’t think he’s careless with equipment. Really think unless they are just flat not getting along they need to try and work through this rough patch.
