How was the racing? It’s usually bottom-dominant, but last time we were there, the top opened up. Of course it was Brandon who opened it up.

TerryM, I was at another race track that night. I just saw those results and decided to post it. I have never even heard of Jimmy Maness, I just thought it was cool that a 78 year old guy won a race.

Jimmy Maness has been a staple in that area of GA/SC racing. Won a lot of races at Modoc, I-20, Gordon Park and other tracks in the area over the years. Sad that Modoc is the only one left out of the 3 I mentioned.

Here in NE WI we have 80 year old Jerry.Muenster running A mods. He started racing in 1960.

We’ve seen Maness run many times at Swainsboro. I honestly, before reading this thread, had no idea he was anywhere even close to that age. That’s awesome!
