Just talked to my buddy who went to Hilltop and he says Hess roughed up the 1* mod with the Kryptonite logo before the LM feature....end result of the night his Hess did not get paid or the trophy.

Many years ago the team l was crewing for went to one of their “home” tracks to run a 2 or 3k to win race. They had 4 family cars entered. Our driver had the audacity to pass two of them early in the race. By the time the next 4 laps were run the only sheet metal we didn’t have to replace was the roof. Our driver pulled off, we loaded up & never went back. The only good thing was Devin Moran was so far ahead they couldn’t tear his car up.
