Bringing this back to the top as it is the hometown track my hall of fame father took me to that got me hooked of the sport. photo in first post is one of track legends from my childhood, Dusty Whitehead. this photo is of 9 time track champion Chris Spieker.

i know from personal experience that it is very easy to just read and consider a post like this as spam.

and then one instance that i chose to get involved, it proved to make a difference.

we are losing local weekly dirt tracks at a scary rate. and this one is special to me.

I made a few visits to this track. A couple of regional series would have a combined co-sanctioned race here and at I80 the night before. A nice small town, reminded me of Fairbury.
