Yep, you're right, I remember Wenger being there.

From WV, there's not many I can think of. Every regional driver I can think of has been to either the World 100/Dream.

The only reason I remember Wenger was because he was in the ticket line with me and I remember a couple fans asking him questions. I recall him saying this was his first trip to Eldora. I believe he broke that first night and didn't compete the rest of the weekend. I can't remember the year for the life of me, but I'm going to assume it was 2010-2013.

With Joiner's massive following they can pretty much just announce him as the winner now if he decides to enter. Not that that's a bad thing, just saying.

GEAR_HEAD is right. Joiner is pretty much a lock for this. However, I just feel there are others out there now that could use this more. HTF isn't hurting for the funds to make this race as much as others.

The tire $ and fuel $ are a heck of a prize package (entry fees and pit passes, too), but this doesn't guarantee you a starting spot in the A-main does it? I was curious based on the interview "before, during, and after" the Dream.

It will definitely be an awesome deal for someone.

I agree with you that there are more teams that are underfunded, but there probably isn't a team that has a better chance than HTF to actually be competitive at Eldora. Also it would surprise me if they did go, I think they only have one super motor and it probably isn't big enough for the Big E.
