Anyone else remember this Hav- a-Tampa crew? It was one of the early internet races we could watch. Trace was a good dude.

Anyone else remember this Hav- a-Tampa crew? It was one of the early internet races we could watch. Trace was a good dude. Ozzie was a POS. Back in my journalism days I got into it with Ozzie. First at Tazewell, and then at Eldora. That was a wild one. He threatened to sue me. But I liked him.

Yeah remember both.... lost Trace at a young age. Went to a ton of Hav a Tampa races. Became familiar with the crew...Ozzie called and wished our family a Merry Christmas one year. That was cool.

Didn't know Trace personally but did Ozzie, great guy (sure Trace was as well). I do miss seeing him as he use to catch up with me from time to time...

Ozzie announced a few weeks ago, he would be the track announcer at Charlotte Motor Speedway!

One of the best in the business in my opinion!

I ran into them a few times during the hava Tampa days I worked for 800 dirtrax which the computer kind of put out of business they were always nice to me.

Had the pleasure of doing a NASCAR All Star Race with ozzie at Charlotte one year. Dude was a trip, had a story for everything, and made a rookie like me feel totally comfortable and was super easy to work with. Ozzie is one of a kind
