Bloomquist just needs to find the right combination. Dirt SLM have become so competitive now. Look at Rick Eckert as an example. Most considered him non competitive a couple of years ago. Now Eckert is a threat to win on any race day.

If the track is smooth I give bloomie a chance at the first one. Not much of one, but a chance. Eldora is his happy place we all no that. To me the big news of the weekend was him climbing out of the car and putting this Ed Shuman in the seat. WVMS was fast, was it the g forces in the corners ? We will never no but they had to have this in the works from the beginning. Containment seats are pretty much built around the drivers and I won't know this guy they put in the car .

as long as sommer is involved, he'll never be what he was. its not the cars thats holding him back, i would guarantee fergy and mcdowell both will be top 10 at least one night if not both

He won his heat and finished 12th on night two. He pulled off early but was inside the top 5.
