?????? As a Dirt late model guy, I still have to ask what in the world you are saying? I must have missed all the late model guys moving up or winning in all kinds of other series.... I can name quite a few sprint car guys that are or have won in a ton of things (Foyt, Andretti, Stewart, Larson, Gordon, etc.). I know you are just looking for a response, but some things are to easy...

Even Shatz isn’t up front when he runs late model. Now it’s so competitive there is not many folks who can compete. Dirt late model folks are strong.

Shatz without his crew chief would never have done what he's done. It now shows, if you don't have a good crew chief your going to be a mid pack racer. Shatz gets out and,plays with his slm, he will never be a Kyle Larson. There's d*m few slm guys that could drive a sprint car and be competitive. Turning that around, I think a few woo guys could get in a slm and be up to speed in no time.

As good as Larson is, don't think that Rumleys top notch ride doesn't have a little to do with his success in the late model. No matter who the driver, you're not going to win without a fast car.
