Well this is the only race at fairbury that sells out. For them to add to backstretch they would have to move the souvenir trailers as the higher up you go the farther out you go. An with the bathrooms permanent kinda hard to do that. They just need temporary bleachers for the weekend. Yes summer Nationals gets close to be sold out but weekly shows aren't even half full most nights even less.

Another question that bears asking... How many cars can their pit area hold? They could have a challenge on their hands if they end up with a huge car count for both classes.

They had 162 cars at a show early this year. They had to park people behind turn 1

Yes to 162 cars but most were smaller haulers and parking behind turn 1 not sure how many you could get in that area as RVs park near for camping. An have signs to park at your risk. Matt did say in a interview awhile ago they wud park on the streets if it came to it.

A few years ago at PDC there were a couple of mods pitted on the horse track outside turn 1 as overflow.

With 65 late models alone confirmed for PDC, it will be just like 2019, except more packed lol.
They can and will find a way to fit all the haulers in.
The backstretch they could always build up.
However, temporary bleachers turn 1 would be more logical.
Also, eventually those grandstands will be unsafe and they will have no choice but to replace with new bleachers.
That's the ticket right there!

PDC has darn near the same “funfactor” as the world 100. It’s something to see if you haven’t been. The whole town is pretty much taken over and the atmosphere is worth the trip. It’s like the Wrigley Field of dirt racing. The place isn’t very big, but that’s kinda the charm of it.
