August 6th and 7th at Merritt Speedway in Lake City Michigan. this years race is 33k to win plus other monies. There will be a silent auction with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. Everytime you hit the track there is a chance you can win money. Hope to see some national drivers this year. The only national touring series running the same weekend is the USA Nationals.

Seems like this race isn't getting a ton of talk. Going up against USA nattys. Could be a great time for one of those regional guys to get a huge pay day.

huge payday for a Michigan show looking forward to it, I think the poor 1 lane track conditions this year aren't helping the publicity of this one unfortunately.. he really needs to get that track figured out to match the money being put out up there, I was really hoping the added purse would draw some national guys away from cedar lake but I don't see many making the trip for a train track."The closer you are to the fence, the less it hurts when you hit it"-Jack Hewitt "Comment
