Gilpin slid across the nose of Owens in 2 banged him down the backstretch. Owens had enough,punted Gilpin in 3-4 almost turned Gilpin over. Never in all my years seen Owens do anything like that,but Gilpin had it coming IMO!

I thought it was a good move by Gilpin, see that stuff all of the time… ALL OF THE TIME! Watch Kyle Larson. Not sure why Jimmy got all bent outta shape about it. He had room beneath him on the backstretch and could’ve earned good points but took himself and Gilpin out. Surprised but probably just a culmination of a rough season by the 20. He’ll have a much better season next year

Gilpin followed Jimmy for quite a few laps and Owens never left the top. Gilpin surely knew he'd be there. Kind of a cheap move on Gilpins part. Still surprised Jimmy popped his cork. Maybe he lost his doublemint gum when he run up the back of Devin.

Its a product of how guys race each other now days. Gilpin knew that was probably his only shot at getting around Jimmy and went for it. Gilpin has also been pulling moves like that since his mod days. Ask Joey Kramer, he was on the receiving end of several of them.

I still feel lile if you have made Jimny Owens that mad, you have accomplished something. That dude has never gotten sideways with anyone ans retaliated like that.
